DO NOT X-RAY is een collectief van samenwerkende kunstenaars uit diverse disciplines die zich gezamenlijk bezighouden met diverse projecten, voornamelijk verlichting door middel van beeldprojectie.
Wij omschrijven ons werk, onze projecten, als KUNSTLICHTINSTALLATIES&VORMGEVING, maar ook als OMGEVINGS-METAMORPHOSE.
DO NOT X-RAY maakt bij haar projecten gebruik van een zo breed mogelijk scala aan beeldmateriaal, projectiemethodes en lichtbronnen, eventueel aangevuld met geluidscollages.
Deze projecten vormen meestal een combinatie van belichting en projectie. Bijvoorbeeld de belichting van gebouwen of ruimtes die, door middel van wisselend verlichting, kleuren en/of projecties, voortdurend een totaal ander aanzien krijgen.
Hiervoor produceren wij regelmatig objecten, decors, installaties, beelden, geluidscollages en afbeeldingen die speciaal voor de situatie, locatie of gelegenheid worden ontworpen cq. aangepast.
In ons beeldmateriaal en afbeeldingen maken wij veelvuldig gebruik van grafische patronen en citaten uit de kunstgeschiedenis, vooral de pré-historie.
DO NOT X-RAY ondersteunt regelmatig diverse beeldende kunst projecten met advies of apparatuur.

DO NOT X-RAY is a collective of co-operating artists from varying disciplines, who occupie themselves with various projects, mainly lighting by means of projection.
We discribe our work, our projects as ART(ificial)LIGHTINSTALLATIONS&DESIGN, but also as ENVIRONNEMENTAL-METAMORPHOSIS.
DO NOT X-RAY tries to make use of a wide range of images, projection methods and lightsources, eventualy accomplished with soundscapes.
These projects are mostly a combination of lighting and projections. For instance the lightplan of buildings or spaces which, by the use of changing lightsources, colors and/or projections, get a totaly new and constant changing appearance.
Regularly we design and produce objects, sceneries, installations, statues, soundscapes and images, which are especially created or enhanced for the situation, location or occasion. In our images and figures we often make use of graphic paterns and ‘art’historical quotes, mainly the stone-age.
DO NOT X-RAY regulary supports various art-projects with advice or equipment.
